    NICMP supports GoMP with online lottery for RTE Admissions

    The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act or Right to Education Act (RTE), is an Act of the Parliament of India enacted on 4 August 2009, which describes the modalities of the importance of free and compulsory education for children between 6 and 14 in India under Article 21a of the Indian Constitution. Act requires all private schools to reserve 25% of seats to children belonging to marginal and disadvantaged sections of the society.

    Madhya Pradesh has more than 30,000 Private Schools and more than 2.9 Lakh seats reserved under RTE Act. Admission in these 2.9 Lakh seats is humungous task is impossible without intervention of Technology.

    Department of School Education, GoMP has entrusted this responsibility to NIC Madhya Pradesh. Under the guidance of Shri Amar Kumar Sinha, DDG & SIO. The Web and Mobile based solution was envisaged as a solution.
