State Level Complaints Committee

Purpose : To look into the problems of sexual harassment at work place in respect of women employees working in NIC, Madhya Pradesh State Centre and its District Centres.

Rule 3(C) of the CCS (Conduct) Rules
Prohibition of sexual harassment of working women at work place

“Sexual harassment” includes any one or more of the following acts or behaviour (whether directly or by implication) namely : –

(i) Physical contact and advances; or
(ii) A demand or request for sexual favours; or
(iii) Making sexually coloured remarks; or
(iv) Showing pornography; or
(v) Any other unwelcome physical, verbal, non-verbal conduct of a sexual nature.

No Government servant/hired manpower shall indulge in any act of sexual harassment of any woman at any work place.
